Dave and Margie McCrum, who had previously been missionaries in Haiti, received a vision from God for an end-times refuge for God's people. God provided this property for them and by faith, they built it from a bare mountainside to four beautiful buildings, fantastic mountain roads, and other amenities we have today for the benefit of God's people. Much of what you see here has been built with their own hands. We are truly so grateful to Dave and Margie for their labor of love in the Lord in this place. We honor them, bless them, and remember them in our prayers as we press on into the new season God has in store for this glorious land. Interesting Note: The Ark building (pictured here) derives its name not from Noah's Ark but from the Ark of the Covenant. Just as the glory of God was with Israel in the Ark, we are reminded that the glory of God dwells with us and that this property has been dedicated completely to Him. Spiritual Training The HUB is is an equipping center for everyone to grow in our knowledge and service to God. This means that all of us are in training… including you! Each of our scheduled training sessions is focused on various aspects of growing in revelation and experiential knowledge of God, His Word, and His ways. As a vital part of hands-on training, we encourage our Guests & Visitors to participate as the Lord leads and as is appropriate in each session. This said, p lease be submissive to the appointed leaders for each session.* We seek to maintain the flow of the Holy Spirit according to God’s order for our times together. (See 1Corinthians 14:40) Please review our Ministry Disclosures . *Those who are disruptive or seek to establish unauthorized or separate groups will be asked to leave. Overnight Accommodations & Fellowship Meals We offer simple and comfortable overnight accommodations at the HUB and provide healthy, grab-and-go or family-style meals free of charge every day.* Overnight Guests MUST apply in advance and may apply to stay at the HUB for up to one week. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be placed in a room with a few others of your same biological gender. Each room sleeps 2-4 people. Meals are provided in our dining areas according to schedule so that everyone can attend our trainings and services. Please be sure to come to the HUB with the right mindset . Overnight Guest Application *Please understand that we cannot accommodate special food preparation requests. If our food does not meet your specifications, there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Practical Service in God's House All kinds of service matters to God! There are many projects to be done, especially as we settle into the HUB property and ramp up to our full training schedule. Our approach to life and faith. Our Approach The Obedience of Faith WE PROCLAIM JESUS AND LIVE BY FAITH IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES. WE LIVE TO MANIFEST GOD’S KINGDOM AND GLORY TO ALL PEOPLE. Statement of Faith I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God for salvation (deliverance, healing, and sustenance) to everyone who believes; first to the Jew, and then to the Gentile. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written: The righteous shall live by faith. - Romans 1:16-17 We believe that Jesus paid the price and is sufficient for everything we need, both temporally and eternally. We set our hearts to trust Him, relying on the power of God rather than in the wisdom of man for all that we need. Form of Worship Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, for this is your true and proper worship. - Romans 12:1 "If you love me, keep my commands." - John 14:15 "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." - Luke 9:23 We believe that worship is a way of life. We take Jesus at His word and devote ourselves to living out His commands. We are willing to embrace sacrifice when needed as an essential element of following after Him. We are fully dependent on God moving for our provision, whether in the hearts of His people to contribute to our work or through supernatural means. We do not make solicitations for finances or our needs, we do not charge money for ministry, and refuse to turn God’s house into a marketplace. Financial Strategy Marketing Strategy Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. - Matthew 23:12 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you. – 1 Peter 5:6 We trust God to promote and raise us up in His timing. We do not promote ourselves, advertise, or use marketing strategies of this world. Political Views Our Kingdom is not of this world. - John 18:36 We are set apart from this world and our focus is on eternity. We do not entangle ourselves in civilian affairs or politics. We submit ourselves to the governing authorities because they are appointed by God. We know that Jesus is King and is coming to judge all nations. Our Work WE RELY ON GOD. WE ARE DEVOTED TO JESUS. Believe Jesus This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent. – John 6:29 Our primary work is to personally believe Jesus and trust Him in every aspect of our lives. Equip the Church for Spiritual Maturity And Christ himself gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. – Ephesians 4:11-13 We train believers in their Christ-given callings for the work of ministry so that together we may become the mature and spotless Bride who is ready to receive her King. Called to All Nations Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. – Matthew 28:19-20 We are called to all nations to make disciples by teaching the Word of God and demonstrating a life lived by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

My life changed when I started doing things God's way. I spent years asking God to bless my path, instead of trying to get on His path for me. I prayed for abundance and prosperity, knowing that God was the “lamp to my feet and a light for my path (Psalm 119:105) but I didn’t take responsibility for my part of cooperating with His plans. I neglected to take into consideration that God was lighting His path for me, not my path for me. No wonder it kept getting dark. ARE YOU A: CONTROL-FREAK, PERFECTIONIST, WORKAHOLIC OR OVER-ACHIEVER? An invitation for you... Introduction Hi. My name is Wendy, and I'm a Recovering Type A. I’ve been a control-freak, perfectionist, workaholic, and over-achiever approximately since birth. I was a private equity investment banker in New York City and the youngest one to ever make the executive team. After my first encounter with God, (more on this in Chapter 12) I continued to pursue my Type A agenda with only slight lifestyle modifications. In fact, my life became increasingly glamorous outwardly but unfortunately, it grew increasingly hollow inwardly. That is, until I finally listened to what God had been trying to tell me for quite some time. (More on this in Chapter 4.) By God’s grace, my life has changed. I have gone through a complete metamorphosis and I now have fulfillment, love, joy, peace, and wisdom – abundant life and purpose – that I have never had before. (More on this in Chapter 15.) The purpose of this book is to encourage you on your own journey so that you, too, can experience this kind of transformation and satisfaction. Depending on where you are in life right now, you may prefer certain sections of this book over others. For some of you, Section One (written from a Type A perspective) will feel like you are talking to yourself, while for others of you, it will be intense and exasperating. Section Two could make almost anyone uncomfortable because it exposes the err of a lot of our thinking, Type A or not. For some of you, Section Three may be what you have been seeking for some time, while for others of you, it may feel awkward and impractical. All I ask is that you stick it out through the parts that push your buttons and boundaries. Getting out of your comfort zone is part of growing.
